Questions

Common questions

What are animated subtitles?
Animated subtitles are dynamic captions that include animations, emojis, and highlight words to make the subtitles more engaging and visually appealing.
Can I customize the animations in the subtitles?
Yes, you can customize the animations, including adding emojis, highlighting specific words, and choosing different animation styles to match your content.
How does the AI ensure the accuracy of the subtitles?
The subtitles come from an AI transcript, which is accurate on clear audio, with an editor to review and fix any errors. Fix any word before you animate them, and drag any caption's start and end in the subtitle editor to fix its timing.
Can I use animated subtitles for different video formats?
Yes, for MP4, WEBM, MOV or MKV files and YouTube, TikTok, Vimeo or X links. The captions are burned into an MP4 (H.264) video.
Is there a limit to the length of videos I can upload for animated subtitles?
Free: files up to 500 MB and 30 min long; Pro: files up to 2 GB and 4 hours long; Creator: files up to 4 GB and 8 hours long; Studio: files up to 10 GB and Unlimited long. Longer videos take longer to process. Each captioned video you export can run up to 10 minutes: the AI Captions flow opens the first 10 minutes, and you can caption another stretch by selecting it in the transcript and clicking "Create Clip".

One upload. Every format you need.

Drop in a recording and work from the transcript — clips, captions, chapters, show notes and posts all come from the same file.
