## How to turn a Kick stream into clips

1. Save the stream as a file. A Kick clip has a Download button that saves an MP4. For a whole replay, Kick has no download button of its own; its help center points streamers to third-party VOD downloaders, so use one you trust, before the replay expires.
2. Upload the file (MP4, MOV or WEBM, within your plan's file limits) and pick Create shorts.
3. In the Generate shorts dialog, pick a framing: Auto splits the frame when two people are on camera and keeps one pane when they are not, Split gives two people a pane each, and Speaker keeps one pane on whoever is talking.
